Rotary sample dividers (such as DPR and DPC) allow you to obtain a sample reduction index from 1/2 to 1/12. Designed to reduce geological rocks and ores in their preparation for analytical studies. Provide high-precision separation of samples of bulk materials into fractions of the same mass and material composition.
In models of the DPR type, the separation occurs as follows. The rotor with the installed receiving tanks rotates uniformly at a low speed. The sample enters the funnel using a feeder. Since the rotation speed of the rotor is constant, there is an equal amount of material in each container, which is 1/8 of the initial sample.
In models of the DPC type, the dispenser tray rotates, and not the receiving tanks. The sample enters the funnel using a feeder. Since the speed of rotation of the distributor is constant, an equal amount of material enters each container, which is 1/8 (1/12 for DPC-100A) part of the initial sample.
For uniform feeding of the material into the rotary dividers of samples, we recommend using a vibrating feeder PE 1 (294PT).
